HIPAA E-Mail (PHI) Compliance...
"rlprofessional services" assisted Fairly's Medical Group in securing their transmission of protected health information (PHI). The project focused on - securing patient records containing individually identifiable health information so that they are not readily available to those who do not need them. "rlprofessional" success consisted of - applying encryption, authentication, and authorization controls to e-mails, attachments, web-forms, and web pages to ensure their integrity. "rlprofessional" initiated secure auditing capabilities to ensure patient information has been properly disclosed in accordance with existing corporate policies.
VPN - Router Install...
"rlprofessional services" was embarked on a project to provide IPSec/VPN access to a clients network. A VPN gateway and Cisco routers was installed - to provide additional authentication we setup a Microsoft RADIUS server to provide a secure process to access the network. The router is being used to segment some larger data units and to route data traffic within two differnt networks. The VPN encrypts all data thru the Internet and provides the necessary protection the client was seeking.
